of 100 mw/sq.cm., AM 1.5 and at 25 degree Centigrade cell
temperature and are within normal production tolerance of
+/- 10%. Due to continuous process innovations, the modules
supplied may differ from those specified above. The above
specifications pertain to the standard SuryaPrakash make
SPV Modules.
SuryaPrakash can also manufacture and supply SPV Modules
as per specific customer requirements, provided the volume
of order is substantial.

Solar
Street lighting system
|
This
system provides un-interrupted light and is completely noiseless,
smoke-free and free from fire hazards. The independent lighting
system consisting of one PL-11 fixture, a storage battery
charged by the SPV Modules and provides lighting during
night hours. It automatically turns on in night and shuts
off during the day.

Introduction
|
Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) Dusk Dawn System is an energy
saving device used for automatic switching of street lighting
systems, making proper use of grid power and increasing
the life of the lamps by switching the street lights for
a optimum period. The system is highly reliable and efficient
for years of continuous flaw-less operation. The operation
of the system is based on sensing the ambient light level
which actuates the electronic controller to switch ON
the street lights in the evening and switch OFF in the
morning. The sensor which is a small Solar photovoltaic
panel is totally maintenance free and encapsulated in
an hermetically sealed housing making it more reliable
even in adverse atmospheric conditions.
The system has the advantage of automatic setting of switching
timings irrespective of whether it is winter or summer,
thus making it a totally unmanned operation. Once set
for a particular ambient light level, the setting remains
unchanged throughout the year.
